IntervalTicker doesn't collect your personal data. This page explains what that means, in plain language.
The short version
- There are no accounts, ads, analytics or tracking.
- Your timers, groups and alarms stay on your iPhone.
- Alarms and notifications are scheduled on your iPhone, not sent from a server.
- We don't sell or share personal data, because we don't collect it.
What stays on your iPhone
Everything you create in IntervalTicker, including timers, groups, alarms and settings, is stored on your iPhone. We don't run a server that receives it. If you back up your iPhone to iCloud or a computer, the backup may include the app's data. That's handled by Apple under your own backup settings.
Alarms and notifications
IntervalTicker schedules its alarms and notifications on your iPhone. They aren't sent from our servers, and we don't receive any information about them.
App updates
New versions from the App Store or TestFlight are delivered by Apple.
IntervalTicker can also download small updates through Expo's EAS Update service. When it checks for one, the request includes your iPhone's operating system, an identifier for the app, and a random token that tells the service whether this copy of the app has already asked for an update. It doesn't include your name or an identifier tied to your device. Like any request over the internet, it comes from your network's IP address. Expo handles these requests on our behalf; see Expo's explanation of the data it handles.
Beta testing with TestFlight
If you join the beta, Apple's TestFlight app shares some information with us so we can find and fix problems: crash reports, how many times the app was opened, your device model and iOS version, and any feedback or screenshots you choose to send. If we invited you by email, we can also see your name and email address. If you joined through a public link, we can't. Apple describes this in its TestFlight privacy notice.
We use this only to test and improve IntervalTicker, and we don't share it with anyone.
When you email us
If you email support@pipedreamstudios.com, we use your email address and message to reply to you and, if you asked to join the beta, to invite you and keep you posted about it. We don't sell or share your address.
Purchases
If you buy IntervalTicker or anything in it, Apple handles the payment. We never see your payment details.
